Program Availability
The program provides a guided review of potential medical, ancillary, and practice benefit approaches. No particular path is required or guaranteed. Products, participation, eligibility, rates, and effective dates depend on the applicable carrier, employer, administrator, program, and governing documents.
Marketed Name and Underlying Legal Arrangement
The ABMSP Multi-Practice Health Plan (MPHP) is the marketed name used for the displayed 2026 medical reference designs. The underlying legal arrangement is the Local 947 Health and Welfare Fund. MPHP is a self funded arrangement with nationwide BCBS and BlueCard network access and a Northwell Direct regional tier where available. Its own eligibility, Fund review, approval and plan terms apply. A network description does not guarantee access to a particular provider.
Program Roles
ABMSP provides program communications and Diplomate support. DirectCare Solutions provides benefits advisory and brokerage services alongside Brown & Brown. DirectCare specialty relationships, transparent pricing, direct contracting, and navigation are separate possibilities only where appropriate and implemented through a distinct arrangement. They are not benefits included in the MPHP designs. ABMSP is not an insurer, plan administrator, or plan sponsor.
Controlling Documents
When a program is formally established, only the applicable carrier policy, plan certificate, Summary of Benefits and Coverage, employer group agreement, and fund documents will control. No description on this website supersedes those documents.
No PHI on This Website
Do not submit medical history, diagnoses, prescriptions, claims information, Social Security numbers, or other protected health information through this website.
No DirectCare Purchase Required
A practice is never required to purchase any product or service from DirectCare Solutions, LC or any affiliated entity as a condition of accessing the ABMSP benefits program.
